Dr. Yu graduated from Hei Long Jiang Traditional Chinese Medicine University in 1986. With extensive training in both Western and Chinese medicine, she brings a wealth of experience to her practice.

 

Previously, Dr. Yu served as a neurological consultant at Beijing and Harbin University hospitals. She has also played a crucial role in educating Western doctors in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.

Dr. Yu has published articles in a variety of Chinese medical journals on acupuncture for stroke victims; depression and fatigue; irritable bowel syndrome; weight loss; and a training manual "Acupuncture for Beauticians".

 

In 2004, Dr. Yu relocated to the United Kingdom and spent two years working at a Chinese Traditional Medicine clinic in Newcastle upon Tyne. In 2007, she established Sun Hie, where she continues to practice and share her expertise.

 

Dr Yu is a full member of The Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (UK).
